The YMCA of Greater Williamson County is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our Afterschool team. 


We are a $27 million Association focusing on mission driven, not-for-profit services with a vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities throughout Williamson & Burnet Counties. Our organization is home to the largest school age child care provider in Williamson County as well as health and fitness programs that improve the quality of life in over 45,000 members ranging from preschool through senior citizens. The Association currently encompasses 4 facility branches, a centralized Child Care Department, a Regional Day Camp, Residence Camp, a Metropolitan Services office, and over 125 program sites committed to meeting the needs of our diverse population. The YMCA of Greater Williamson County Licensed Childcare Department has an annual budget of over $10 million and serves approximately 5,000 children per day in 70+ school-based sites throughout 5 school districts and continues to be one of the fastest growing counties in the country.  The YMCA of Greater Williamson County responds to community needs with effective community-based programs that enrich the quality of spirit, mind and body for all people throughout Williamson County. 


**The full-time LCC Director of Operations will assist the Executive Director of Licensed Childcare with general operations, ensuring successful programming at multiple school district sites.  Develops programming that meets and/or exceeds industry best practice standards, and will build a strong network of community partnerships that contribute to the curriculum of the after school programs and the overall mission of the YMCA.  This position drives enrollment efforts and takes responsibility for quality management for assigned District sites while remaining in compliance with state licensing requirements.   Provide a quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, caring and faith. Support the mission, purpose, and goals of the YMCA while performing job duties.

Successful candidate must be able to think in new and innovative ways to reach our goals, and possess a special desire and ability to reach out to the community.


  • At least 4 years working in a YMCA environment preferred;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; word, excel, PowerPoint;
  • Organized with strong administrative skills;
  • Excellent relationship building skills;
  • Able to meet deadlines;
  • A 4 year college degree is preferred;
  • Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus;
  • Must have valid Texas Driver license and necessary liability insurance;
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history check and sex offender registry check.

Salary: $48,500-$55,000 DOE
