Quirky fun-loving adventurers needed!  Camp Twin Lakes, in the heart of Cedar Park, is a full YMCA Camp offering Guest groups and School groups programming for day and overnight retreats and events. This is a part-time position.

We are looking for staff to lead our Programs including: Climbing Tower/Zip Line, High Ropes Course, Low Ropes Course, Archery, Team Building, Outdoor Education classes, Paintball, hiking and more.

*This is a great opportunity to work around your school schedule. We have programming that takes place on weekends and Midweek. In addition to working at Camp; we can offer additional hours at the YMCA After-school sites to assure that you are getting the hours you need.*

Skills / Requirements


We want to make sure that the YMCA camp experience is the best that it can be.  To help make that happen, we need the very best candidates leading the way!  Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of College course work
  • Previous Camp experience or experience working with children.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Buckets of enthusiasm!
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Program certifications such as Ropes Course, Archery and Lifeguarding are preferred. Training is available as needed.
  • Creativity!  Compassion!  Confidence!

Must able to pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender check
