Job Description

The YMCA of The Highland Lakes is now accepting applications for caring, fun loving, energetic and creative individual who enjoys working with children.  The ideal candidate needs to be a good communicator, problem solver, and work with us in our afterschool program passing on your skills to the elementary kids of Williamson County.

Our afterschool program is based in three schools Burnet Consolidated ISD and this role will work with multiple schools in those areas.  In this position you’ll have the freedom and support to create your own curriculum and deliver it to the kids in our programs.  Here are the details:

  • 6 to 8 hours per week
  • Flexible times between 4:00 and 6:30 pm Mon to Thurs
  • Paying between $12 – 15 per hour

Skills/ Requirements

  • Over 18 and possess a high school diploma, or equivalent
  • Have clear expertise in their field
  • Previous experience working with kids
  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Able and willing to commit to consistent programing and schedule

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history, sex offender and reference checks.
