Job Description

Get paid to PLAY, come be a lifeguard at the YMCA!  Lifeguards are responsible for safety of pool patrons by preventing accidents and responding to emergencies.  Must know and be able to perform all skills required for certifications.   Must be able to verbally communicate with public and staff. Year round and seasonal, full-time and part time positions are available. Some year-round part time positions are available. 

Looking for staff to fill positions in Bertram, Burnet, and Marble Falls.

Shifts:  Varied shifts including holidays, weekends and evenings up to 40 hours per week.

Age: Must be 16 years or older. 

Pay:  $9.00-$11 based on experience and certifications

Benefits:  include free individual YMCA membership and discount on family membership.

Certifications:  Must hold a current YMCA Lifeguard or Red Cross Lifeguard certification along with current Professional CPR, AED and First Aid.  Training dates will be supplied but you will not be hired until training is complete.  Contact your local YMCA for upcoming trainings 512-756-6180 or   Several POSITIONS AVAILABLE
