Job Description

The YMCA of Greater Williamson is looking for a Pool Manager for the Santa Rita Ranch Community pool located between Georgetown and Liberty Hill. This is a full-time seasonal position which will run from May – Sept, 2018.

Pool Managers are responsible for daily pool operations which include but is not limited to the following; supervise and ensure all head guards, lifeguards, cashiers and swim instructors are fulfilling their job duties; perform pool maintenance and water testing.

Must be at least 18 years of age, with 2 years of pool experience.

Swim Lesson Instructor preferred. CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid and Lifeguard Training is a must.

Skills / Requirements


  • Minimum one year aquatic facilities management or minimum of 3 years previous lifeguard experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. Must hold current Professional CPR, AED, O2 and First Aid certifications.
  • Must hold a current YMCA/American Red Cross Lifeguard/or Ellis certification.
  • YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor or Red Cross WSI certification desired.    
  • Experience with and knowledge of pool maintenance and proper water chemistry is needed.
